| Winter with Offline |
We invite you this Winter to slow down and warm up with five intimate creative evenings at Herengracht 390, Amsterdam. Away from the cold and the screens, you’ll step into our cosy Offline space where we explore different artistic disciplines.
Each session is held in our cozy souterrain atelier. Once you’ve left your phone in our Phone Hotel we can start the evening. Everybody will settle in with a hot tea and is guided through a hands-on creative assignment tailored to that evening’s material and theme. You’ll receive all the materials, step-by-step support and gentle encouragement to help your ideas take shape. During a quick break we will serve you a special home made warming drink. We wrap up leaving you with your own piece of art and a quiet, reflective state of mind.
Since we don’t use our phones during these sessions, to find inspiration we have curated an Offline Library which includes books, stencils, reliefs, magazines, and other tactile references.

5/01/2026: Air-Dry Clay: Make your own Candleholder
In this first session, we will be working with air-dry clay to create beautiful and unique pieces. We will provide you with a creative assignment of making a candle holder, assistance and set the stage for you to get into a flow state of mind and playfully come to a self made piece. We will send you home with a candle and match and your Candle holder carefully wrapped up so it can dry at your own place.
12/01/2026: Metal Embossing
Join us for a hands-on exploration of metal embossing. This is a technique where thin metal sheets are shaped an textured by pressing with different tools and pressure. Through a guided assignment, some practise and expert assistance, we provide the perfect space for you to reach a flow state and transform a simple metal sheet into a beautiful, self-made work of art.

26/01/2026: Make your own Stamps & Fabric Sticker
In this workshop, you’ll explore the playful process of creating your own stamps and fabric stickers. You’ll design unique shapes, symbols, and patterns and learn how to turn them into reusable stamps and tactile fabric stickers. The session invites curiosity and experimentation, allowing ideas to develop naturally without pressure. You’ll leave with your own custom creations and fresh inspiration to continue at home.
2/02/2026: Creating art with the 5 Elements
The Fifth and last Winter With Offline is a collaboration between Atelier Amsterdam Offline and Marie. Marie will introduce the five elements according to traditional Chinese medicine —wood, fire, earth, metal and water—and explain how they relate to balance, energy, and creativity. She will guide participants into a relaxed flow state of mind and warmly open the session with a tea ceremony. From there, Atelier Amsterdam Offline will lead a thoughtfully designed creative session inspired by these five elements as they appear in real life. Participants will translate their experience into making a personal art piece connected to wood, fire, earth, metal and water.
These workshop are bookable individually or all together.
Workshops are conducted in Dutch if all attendees speak the language; otherwise, they take place in English.
