This winter, for four evenings, we’re inviting you to join Offline indoors at our beautiful location at Herengracht 390, Amsterdam. Together, we’ll stay warm, sip on hot drinks, and get creative with different materials and techniques.
Each evening starts at 7:30 PM in ‘De MuziekSael’. Here, you can leave your belongings (and your phone!) at the door and settle into a cosy and inspiring space. We’ll guide you through a creative assignment tailored to the evening’s material and theme. You’ll receive all the materials, assistance where needed, and plenty of encouragement to let your creativity flow.

We wrap up at 9:30 PM, leaving you with your self-made art and a relaxed, reflective state of mind.

In this first session, we will be working with air-dry clay to create beautiful and unique pieces. We will provide you with a creative assignment of making a candle holder, assistance and set the stage for you to get into a flow state of mind and playfully come to a self made piece. We will send you home with a candle and match and your Candle holder carefully wrapped up so it can dry at your own place.

Join us for a hands-on exploration of metal embossing. This is a technique where thin metal sheets are shaped an textured by pressing with different tools and pressure. Through a guided assignment, some practise and expert assistance, we provide the perfect space for you to reach a flow state and transform a simple metal sheet into a beautiful, self-made work of art.

26/01/2026: Make your own Stamps & Fabric Sticker

In this workshop, you’ll explore the playful process of creating your own stamps and fabric stickers. You’ll design unique shapes, symbols, and patterns and learn how to turn them into reusable stamps and tactile fabric stickers. The session invites curiosity and experimentation, allowing ideas to develop naturally without pressure. You’ll leave with your own custom creations and fresh inspiration to continue at home.
2/02/2026: Creating art with the 5 Chinese Elements

The Fifth and last Winter With Offline is a collaboration between Atelier Amsterdam Offline and Marie. Marie will introduce the five elements according to traditional Chinese medicine —wood, fire, earth, metal and water—and explain how they relate to balance, energy, and creativity. She will guide participants into a relaxed flow state of mind and warmly open the session with a tea ceremony. From there, Atelier Amsterdam Offline will lead a thoughtfully designed creative session inspired by these five elements as they appear in nature through naturally obtained dies. Participants will translate their experience into making an intuitive art piece.
Join us for a fun and creative event where you create your ring! Get ready to unleash your inner artist and design a unique piece of jewellery that reflects your personal style. Our experienced instructor Lotte-Ninja will guide you through the process, teaching you techniques and sharing their expertise.
This in-person event will take place in an unique 17th century style room in the city center of Amsterdam.

DuelluoS Djulerie Duo Workshop - €160,00
In this two-part workshop we will dive in the life of a goldsmith. Together we find inspiration outside on the canals of Amsterdam and translate this into a range of designs. You will experiment with different materials and techniques to find your own signature style. After two lessons you take home your self-made jewelry piece. [more info]
During this workshop we will decorate a bag with leather paint under the guidance of Nine. For this workshop you bring your own (faux) leather bag or you can buy one on the spot for a nice price. Its also possible to embellish items like gloves, wallets etc.
The workshop is held in an unique 17th century style room with a view over the private gardens, in the centre of Amsterdam.
To make it easy on yourself, we recommend a bag that does not have too many folds and a flat surface you can paint on. During the workshop itself, you are not supposed to look for inspiration on your phone. We will provide reference material (various books, magazines and other mediums).
If you do want to recreate a design you saw online, print it out or bring a sketch. We will provide an apron but also recommend that you don’t wear your fliest outfit so it’s not ruined if you drop some paint on yourself ;-).
